The builder of that area must have thought you were going to use a stand mount because they sure didn't leave you much space.
What I would think about doing is going with some stand-offs from the back wall (2x2 or 2x4) to create some clearance for the plugs and then mount the swivel mount to the stand offs. I would go with a 90 degree power plug that would go behind the mount. You might be clear with the signal cables because the mounting plate of the mount is roughly 26" wide and cane be offset a bit from center because of the side to side swivel capability of the mount.
:edit: Are you sure you only want a 46" display? Well, if you do.. you have some options for swapping later to a larger display if you mount the swivel mount in the center.
