Only question I have is whether this would be overkill? The TV i'm getting is only 45 pounds (even though it's a 46"). I'd much prefer to get a smaller mount that gets closer to the wall, but since this mount is set up to handle TVs up to 175lbs, it has alot of "heft" built in.

The mounts for lighter TVs don't seem to be able to take a 46" tv (This TV has 400mmx400mm VESA screw points).
