Thanks again everyone. A very last thing! Is the upscaling of 720p and SD pictures really that horrible, or was it just some .... misconfiguration of the set I saw in action?
SD tv was really really unwatchable. A standard DVD was really a lot worse than seeing it on an old 42 inches rear projection tv, and - finally - 720p (Sky HD) was... decent from a good distance, but seriously flawed (jagged picture, artifacts) when watched from close.
