It depends on the format of your files and you haven't stated what that is.

These are the file types that Movie Maker supports: .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv

If your camera saves the files in a different format, then you would have to convert to one of these and there are many free programs that will do that. Also, I would think your camera came with some type of software to edit and/or convert files. If not, I would check out Canon's site. I've used their printers and still cameras and they generally provide good software for their hardware.
