Hi and Hello,
I just purchased a Panasonic Viera G10 50" plasma TV. After hooking everything up it turned out the TV has an issue playing some DVDs.
I have both NTSC and PAL DVDs, and two different DVD players both by Panasonic.
One 1080i and the other an upscaling 1080p.
When either of the players is connected to my 32" LCD via HDMI all DVDs play just fine, yet when connected to the plasma (also HDMI) I get a black screen.
I'm starting to think this is an upscaling issue.
So far I've tried setting the DVD players at 1080i and 1080p, after reading some other similar posts I'm thinking about disabling upscaling on the DVD player all together if it is possible.
Any help will be appreciated.
