Yeah, I'm a Sony shill. That's why I just told a coworker he should get the 360 instead of the PS3. Cause I'm such a shill that I would recommend a non-Sony product just to show how much I care.
(BTW, he got a 360 Elite.)
The only "shill" here is you. You shoot your load any time anything comes up that could possibly dent Sony. Who cares? Unless you are paid by The Vole, what's in it for you?
The Go is a revision yes. But what apparently has completely escaped your ability to comprehend is that the Go may not be targeted at gamers. (I know, that rocks your world. maybe you should lie down for a few minutes.) It's painfully obvious to even the most simple minded person that that the Go is just a fancy MP3 player geared at people who want mobile media. It's targeted at the Ipod and the Zune crowd. Granted it happens to play PSP games, but without a UMD, that's not as big a focus. Sony is most likely looking into breaking into the VERY lucrative MP3 and mobile media market. Screw the "gaming" on the Go. The Go offers a few things that the ipod and Zune don't and for a cheaper price! OMG did I say cheaper? The 8GB Zune is supposed to cost $230 and the 16GB is supposed to drop in at close to $300. That makes the 16GB Go cheaper than the new Zune, and more capable. Is it possible that the Go was never intended to be a gaming console? Can you even comprehend that possibility? To me, the Go is a decent $250 mobile media player in the market at about the same price as all the other mobile media players.
Only people like you focus on it's gaming as if that's the only point to this device. Let me ask you this, can you remotely connect your Zune over WiFi to your PC in a different state and stream movies stored on the PC? No? You can with the PSP.
Furthermore, you're STILL missing the point. This is what is known in the world as a "rumor." Maybe you should look it up. Do you have concrete proof that it's a reality? No? Really? Nothing to say this is a fact? So then what's the point of making stupid comments about something that ISN'T EVEN REAL yet? IF, IF, IF, Sony does this, I'll stand right beside you and say this was a dumb idea. But to use a rumor to claim proof of something? Seriously? Are you really THAT gullible? Although, that would explain your teenage crush on Macroshaft. You have to be an empty head to be so in love with that company.
