But the thing is, many of them are moving to a model where everything will be on some "digital" cable where a STB is required. I believe the law states they can't charge more for having cable in multiple rooms, but they *can* and do charge for STB rental fees required to use the digital signal. Now some folks may have QAM tuners which can work, but these aren't going to be the lowest-budget "lifeline" users and they might need a cablecard (which can also be "leased" for a fee legally, I believe).
But apparently you'd rather complain about everything under the sun and then try to discredit others by dismissing it as "mis-information." Whatever.
