Not exactly. Post the model number and someone will give the lowdown on it.

For example, my little 19" Vizio VA19L has a native display of 1366 x 768 pixels. It can accept input formats of 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1180i, but it converts (rescales) all these formats to fit the 1366 x 768 display screen.
