Look for the Panasonic P42S1 over the U1 series that I believe does not have the anti-glare coating like the S1 series has.
I have the last year model (50pz80u) of the S series and we play Cod4 & 5 all the time on it and it helped having a plasma over the LCD for shooters like this. We did better with the plasma.
