You realize that sony already has motion tech working solely with the eye? Games where you control a rolling ball using your hand, a fish tank 'screen saver' type deal where the water ripples when you 'touch it' and the fish swim to your hand and such. They've been working on that since the PS2. Yes the stand alone motion tech for the EYE isn't/won't be quite as advanced as what Natal is showing/promising but it is there already without the wand. The real major advantage Natal has on the eye is the IR sensor which will work better for low light situations and for detecting Z axis movement (depth), I think the wand is primarily there to overcome that shortcoming.
