Do you think they will resume their interest in 3D or will it die on the vine like a lot of other promising technologies that were abandoned in the past due to either a lack of funds or, lawsuits over alleged patent infringement?
The Philips 3D system is supported by HDMI 1.4. As is the Dolby 3D system and the Panasonic 3D system.

The problem with the Philips 3D system is that is not as "wow" as the other 2 are and looks nothing like the Digital Cinema 3D system in use today.

We could see 2 different 3D systems be standardized - one for BD and PC's and one for HD "OTA."

They did this with HDTV. The 1280x720P system was supported by Panasonic and it was included in the specs.
