I hope that I am not coming across as complaining here. I am really excited that Verizon is on the bend and on the horizon. Outside of satellite service Comcast doesn't feel they have competition here in Acushnet, MA. That is directly from their mouths! I believe I stated this in an earlier post but my understanding is that Verizon has to go town to town or city by city to ask permission to lay their cables. We currently do not have any Verizon FIOS lines on our poles, hopefully soon. Comcast has had a hold for too long and hopefully competition will shake things up for me here. :-)
