However, in reading the website-provided user's manual for the ENTONE STB I see no component video connection(s) and both the HDMI and USB connections have a * symbol over them and a footnote that they're for future use. Is this to imply that these features really aren't yet available or that their webmaster has other far more pressing duties? Regardless of that answer, it doesn't leave me with a very warm-fuzzy feeling.
Is HDMI truly not yet implemented and does this box really not have a component video output?
Getting dependable info from Consolidated about their IPTV service seems a little like pulling teeth. I'm off tomorrow (Good Friday) and hopefully their local service center is open so I can go in and check this thing out first hand.

I recently signed up for this service in Pittsburgh, PA.
The STB does support both component and HDMI output. The installer told me that he had seen some problems with older HDTV sets using HDMI, but component output always worked in that case.
Overall, I'm pleased with the service and recommend it.
Minor things I don't like:
Slow remote to STB (all the remotes use RF to communicate to it)
Channel guide does not list: new/repeat for current programs and doesn't list year of program or movie
Lack of some HD channels like History and SciFi (Syfi?)
DVR does not currently function correctly for recording series programs (although I am told this is to be corrected)
Lack of HD movies on demand
I don't mind these things for saving $100 per month compared to Comcast.
