I bought one of these units refurb on ebay for 150 shipped. I have played a handful of blu ray's on it and a handful of DVD's on it to my 42" panny S1 plasma.

Upconversion is great and it has played every disc (very good quality discs that is with no scratches) PERFECTLY.

Im guessing some issues with earlier models was fixed in the refurb I got. Noticed no problems with this model and I just upgraded to firmware 2.3 via CDR with NO problems what so ever.

Maybe im lucky.

I give it a 5/5 stars. Except I have nothing to compare it with though.
