Again per Consolidated's own web site, they're showing an ENTONE set top box for HD and their DVR is the identical same box with an external (also ENTONE) disk drive attached to what appears in the picture to be the USB port on the STB.
However, in reading the website-provided user's manual for the ENTONE STB I see no component video connection(s) and both the HDMI and USB connections have a * symbol over them and a footnote that they're for future use. Is this to imply that these features really aren't yet available or that their webmaster has other far more pressing duties? Regardless of that answer, it doesn't leave me with a very warm-fuzzy feeling.
Is HDMI truly not yet implemented and does this box really not have a component video output?
Getting dependable info from Consolidated about their IPTV service seems a little like pulling teeth. I'm off tomorrow (Good Friday) and hopefully their local service center is open so I can go in and check this thing out first hand.
