I have had a problem with the sound intermittantly cutting out ever since I bought my new Toshiba high def tv. Sometimes it does it a lot and then goes away for awhile and then other times it happens so much it's incredibly annoying. Between this and the unresponsiveness of the on screen menus when trying to look at On Demand or DVR content I really could not be more disappointed with my FIOS service.
Their tech support is useless and the guys they send to the house are useless and the worst part is you have to waste hours of time trying to even get someone on the phone to complain to and they really can't do anything to fix any of these issues it seems or don't want to is more like it.
Now I'm sure I'll hear from a bunch of people who say "Oh I love Fios and mine works great!" Well good for you cause mine sure as H does not and I'm sure I'm not the only one, that's why the phones are always so busy with the thousands of unhappy people sitting there on hold waiting for one of their vapid techs to finally answer. One of these days I'm hoping they improve things as I do realize this is all new stuff for them but at this point they make Comcast look good.
