I agree with oblioman.
I did finally get my project completed, but had to do it in 30 minute segments then take those segments and make the completed video.
In my frustration, I figured how to resolve the synchronization issue.

At least for recording the same event at the same time. Have both of the cameras setting side-by-side, like touching, and use the record button on the remote to start both cameras. Since most events don't last over a couple of hours, the few seconds lost while repositioning the cameras is minimal to the amount of recording time a HDD camcorder has.
BTW, MAGIX never responded to my request for resolution. I saw where other people had the same experience with other different MAGIX software.
