The DCDi upscaler in the Oppo is significantly better than anything in the Samsung - I have both - don't dismiss upscalers without experiencing DCDi --Superbit DVDs look every bit as good as PBS "HDTV" - but not as good as real CBS/NBC OTA-HDTV.. Fox and ABC somewhere in-between
