My current antenna is on the roof about 30 feet off the ground and has a rotator on it already.
The cable runs from the antenna about 45-50 feet to the basement to a 4 way splitter and then has two runs that are about 25-30 feet long going back to the second floor tv's .
I am planning on ordering a CM7777 to replace the cheap Magnavox pre-amp that just went bad.
I was thinking of going with a DB8 and a VIP-307SR or a HD8200U by itself, any thoughts?
Would I need to run a distribution amplifier because of the long runs after the splitter?

This was funny, I just pulled up your stations and I read the first one, KAAL-DT and was like, wow I must have read wrong! (I live in Rochester, MN)
The TC stations should be fairly doable with an 91XG/Y7-13, and the Rochester/Austin/Mason City stations could be gotten with the same setup.... I would go with a CM 7777 amp and join the 2 antennas with that....
VIP-307SR: I do not know why you would need VHF-LO and the wind load is extreme, the DB8 would be ok, but less rejection of side/back signals which may make the 50-60 more reliable.... You could try it and see what happens, otherwise, the 91XG is a lot smaller and less wind load...
