But if the channel is HD, why wouldn't the shows and movies be HD and not have black bars.

Now, we are watching our first Blue ray movie, and there is fuzzyness all over. Some parts look excellent, but then there is this hazy part and it looks likes it's moving? I thought blue ray movie on a blue ray player would be great. But not happy with the hazy screen. We watched a regular DVD with same player and didn't notice the fuzzy screen.

What settings do we want for watching movies?
