confuxion

While the posts for this article are very informative and helpful, I find myself completely frustrated over what I should do with this whole power conditioning/UPS thing. Can someone please help me with the following?

I just bought a Samsung LN55A950 LCD HDTV, I have a Popcorn Hour A110 Media Tank and a Samsung P250 BluRay player, and am getting a new Yamaha receiver and speakers to round out my home theater.

Obviously, I'm concerned about protecting my (rather huge) investment AND getting the most out of it. From what I've read, I'm thinking that I need both power conditioning and UPS. Should I purchase both items, or is there some kind of model out there that does both? Can anyone provide me with model names/numbers for a device(s) that will give me both options? I'm willing to spend good dollars to achieve both goals of having the best possible picture and sound (ie. power conditioner, regardless if they actually work) and surge protection/uninterupted power.

Somebody go out on a limb and recommend some products; or set me straight if my thinking is incorrect. Thanks in advance.
