Not bad... announcement hit the Trades yesterday AM... followed by an email from TiVo yesterday afternoon. By evening we were viewing.

While the partnership was announced back in October, it said nothing about HD content, and in fact at the time there was none. But there's a bit now.
It appears that any items already in your DVD Queue go directly into your new "Instant Queue" as well and can be accessed via your TiVo once you link the box to your Netflix account, a simple process on the web. As soon as the account was linked, I had five titles sitting in my Instant Queue on the box.
Only downside at this point, besides the limited HD content, is that you need to browse and add to your queues online, not via the TiVo box. I'm guessing that will change.
Nice: Unlimited free streaming no matter what account level you're at with Netflix, as long as it's the "Unlimited" type. I'm guessing that will change also.
I guess this makes it pretty clear why they named the company Netflix instead of DVDFlixByMail. A couple of years ago, they asked the founder why he chose the name he did and he just smiled. I think we now know why.
As someone who has definitely NOT been either a Netflix or TiVo fanboy, I must say I'm pretty impressed.
