Go here:

http://www.verizon.com/fiostvcentral

You'll need to log in. If you haven't already created an account, go to Verizon's web page first, over to My Verizon, and register. Then go back to that tv central site and log in with that same ID (in the radio button, select verizon.com). Then sign in. You'll get access to all sorts of fun TV stuff from there, including tv listings, VOD listings, and you'll be able to set up recordings via this remote DVR booking.

One caveat - you HAVE to have the home media DVR for this to work. It won't work for you if you don't. And they just activated wireless remote DVR booking (if you have Vz Wireless cell with one of the supported phones - also available off this link), and the ability to manage all your DVRs via the web (although one of those DVRs still has to be the home media version).

When you get in, you should see an icon saying that remote DVR booking is now available. Hit on that, and it'll activate the feature for you (I didn't have to touch anything on my DVR to make this work).

It's a really slick feature - and one that I hope they continue to expand on. You can set up/delete recordings and even series. You can manage your favorites lists and your parental controls. You can see what titles have already been recorded on your DVR, and what's set to record, and you can even bookmark VOD recordings. You set up your recordings off the tv listings, or off the search functionality. Very slick.

There are some nits with it, but I'm sure over time the functionality will improve.
