The 24fps feature makes no difference to a TV that is 60Hz. The TV will do a 3:2 pulldown. In essence what this means is that per second, it will show certain frames multiple times per second. Here is a table that illustrates it.
With 24fps, and a compatible television, there is no need for the conversion of 3:2 and added frames. You'll notice that Frame one is shown twice, then frame 2 is shown three times. Same for 3 and 4 and so on. The 3:2 pulldown causes the picture to "judder" and is especially noticeable during scenes where the camera is panning from one direction to another. The common person can't tell the difference until they've seen it for themselves. I've been told by many people here not to look for it though, or you'll see it every time. Right now, everything looks totally normal to you because it's what you've been used to seeing your whole life.
