Everyone's is a bit different.
RBinck, the local Guru here at HDF had one type of install, but it was different from mine.
Mine they came in through the phone line. The line for the TV has a phone to coax converter. I didn't even know there was such a thing. But I would assume everyone in my building was installed the same way since our cable boxes are locked as well.
