Judging by the last 11/2/07 Pre-Black Friday sale for the HD-A2, I would say you want to get there by 3:00am and make sure you wait at the door, since many will likely be waiting earlier but in their cars to keep warm.

You live in a warm climate so the cold weather will not be a factor.
