Anyway, I confess I haven't gotten to watch the BR version yet, so I cannot comment on the quality of the actual BR itself, but as far as the MOVIE is concerned, it TRULY is one of Disney's finest IMO.

When I first heard of this movie way back when, the concept definately did NOT appeal to me. I thought that WAL-e looked like that other little robot guy (whose name I can't think of now) from back in the 80's(?). However, my interest really peaked after I read a lenghty review in the LA Times about it. The reviewer was VERY taken with the film, and made several comparisons to some other older movies, including a favorite oldie of mine: Silent Running...

Well, that was enough to get me into the theatre, but I was still skeptical.

Honestly, I was really blown away with this movie. I would consider this to be a Disney "masterwork". IMO, basically EVERYTHING that PIXAR does is great, but this is beyond great & has something to offer viewers of ALL AGES.

Seriously, I really can't imagine anyone NOT loving this movie. If nothing else, at LEAST rent it, and give it an honest chance. I'm willing to bet it will be one of the best investments you will make, and that's NOT because of the @#$%**!! stock market either!!!

This is very possibly the finest animated film ever made.

It makes me wonder since Pixar keeps topping themselves, how good will the next one be?

This is a must have for any collection!
All very true.
