I find the only real thing that bothers me about a plasma is the reflections with bright light, and if direct, a washed out picture. Other than that, I own 2 plasmas now and have gamed on my 37" for the last 3 years, and now game on my 65". I own a Sony LCD also, and if you can control the lighting, plasma is the way to go.
