Cheers guys! Let's all hope bluray dies so we are all f*cked. That will show em'!
No HDM for anyone! Yeah!
Die Sony Die!
I am desperately seeking to save that extra $1 again from Netflix, revert back to S DVD, and rent $6 HD rentals from my playstation/360 (if I had one). Can't wait for that!
Awesome.
I sure hope WB kills bluray like they killed HD DVD. I mean, who really needed all of that 1080p video, lossless audio, etc. I mean, this is the point of this thread, right? To cheer about HDM being taken away from ALL of us so that we all know how bad it hurt SOME to lose?

So THAT is what you are really concerned about? You think that people who don't say BD is great and perfect will end up killing BD?
As I said before, the only chance for BD to die is if the BDA companies believe those on these forums think everything with BD is perfect, when it has a lot to do to get BD to be a mass market format. The best way for BD to thrive is to point out the issues that need to be corrected, and voice these issues until the studios (only ones left that have not heard) change things to resolve those issues.
Saying everything is great and perfect will likely do more to kill the format than complaining about what is still an issue with it IMO. People (the vast majority) who don't own the format yet, are waiting for those issues to be corrected before they jump in. If they do not get corrected, they do not jump in like they would and adoption is slowed much more than FACING the issues.
I don't know about you, but I don't stick my head in the sand and hope things resolve themselves, and I sure do not expect the studios to change the issues unless they must.
