Will it better to have a 1080p signal or to have the 720p signal to use with my TV? If so then how is that? Does it affect motion and such by setting your setting at a higher resolution?

I tried the 720, 1080p and 480p and all of them show the interference. Whats more is that my TV does not display Red. Instead the RED static is shown as interference (look at the picture in the original post).

Please answer as soon as possible as I have this weekend before thanksgiving to return it and dont want to ruin the big show...

I tried the PS3 with HDMI connection and it works perfectly fine. I might as well buy the Xbox HDMI adapter for the 360.
I don't really need to use Component connections, but are there any other uses for component connections? Do I need component connections?
Depending on what all you have plugged in the TV, maybe not. The way I see it, I dropped $2K for my TV, so I want the best cables possible to achieve the best picture. I do see a difference in HDMI and Component, so I got rid of all the component cables.

I have a DVD player that uses component cables, but all my movies go through the PS3 now. It's probably easier to drop a little cash on the HDMI adapter for the Xbox that it would be to move the TV, right? Plus, you'll get a better picture out of the deal.
