What it comes down to is, can you see the difference.

Because I can see the difference between 720p and 1080p and I know a lot of people cannot. Now you may say that, no you cannot well before you say it your wrong. I know a lot of other people that can see it and others that cannot.

If you think the quality is the same from both cables then go with whatever you want to. Personally I am trying to go with all HDMI because it can carry both Audio/Video signals in one cable which is a lot easier to hook up then multiple cords.

Also have you calibrated your TV? If not do so, you may see a difference then. I use the DVE calibration disc, there are other ones out there and you can get HD versions as well.
