IMO, it was brilliant. I honestly think they sacrificed the PS3 to the gaming gods to achieve their overall goals for BD. I don't think they will sell anywhere near the number of units that the PS2 did. But I don't think the 360 will either.

But it did accomplish what it needed to do. It firmly secured BD owners with every purchase.
