Cinemax is really my favorite. They got the oldest movies in HD. Many thanks to Twentieth Century Fox, and Paramount for great prints. Showtime gets new Paramount movies, not very new even. It is a wonder that they are not as good as Cinemax. More movies are likely on satellite. I made my choice with Comcast, and am sticking with it. Hard for me to say that satellite is better than Blu Ray without experience of HD on satellite. The sentiment is the same. HD movies uncut, commercial free, close to the way they were seen in movie theaters, blows me away. Knowing that they are not yet on Blu Ray makes them priceless. DVR, and On Demand are like rentals that I control. Instead of complaining about compression, I will love every minute of it. I can never get enough movies.
