Try cutting out a piece of paper the size of the screen and test it in various positions you MAY be watching it from to find the best height. If you have recliners make sure you can see the whole screen without propping up your head, and the same if lying down on the couch. Also consider if you will have people over and watching it in the standing position too.
You will likely want some middle position for both standing and lying down, but I would say make sure the center is about 4-5 feet off the ground.
