Seems everytime I need to build another computer or buy a big ticket electronic item, I have to do all my homework again as I don't live here everyday but have many other intrest that also tie up my attention.

I appreciate you getting me up to speed because I was wondering about that. I have them both ordered now... LOL!
I'll just take the combo pack back to the store for a refund and keep the SD version.

somehow I originally thought there must be some kind of "HD test" it may try to do that the other one would be missing.... but it sounds like its the same basically.

The guy at Circuit City said he had an LG that would play "both" formats but it was 499.00... I didn't see the point.

Anyway, I'm sure I may develop a few questions when I run the disk as it obviously doesn't know the menu on my given TV and so I will have to figure out where to go to find all the settings they suggest tweaking as I assume it will be more than the standard settings!

Thats another thing that was puzzling me.... I guess I'll find out when I get the disk, but this TV unit has more tweaking abilities than many TV's.. yet the disk is obviously made to be used with any set.

So will there be settings that DVD suggest that some sets cannot access?... or will it be the other way around, whereas there will be settings and tweaks available in my menu that I most likely not adjust?
