I"m glad you brought that to my attention... I'm so dense sometimes.... I don't have a blueray "or" HD player.. mine does upsample to 1080i but its not the real thing.

If it has both disk like you say, I sounds like I will still be ok... I does say "combo format" at the top, but it doesn't really spell out what that means.
