Being an OTA wannabe and knowing that the rotor requires power to do its thing, is it necessary to punch holes in dry wall and such in order to accomplish this? Tried multiple searches but was unable to find any topics on installation. As I can simply tie into my existing cable/sat coax for the antenna I was wondering how much trouble it's going to be for the rotor hook-up and if any out there can shed some insight with their installation and how/to methods.
Am contemplating the 4228 and CM9521A combo, as was suggested, with a 25 ft. or so mast but am holding off until the new 4228HD becomes available. Currently using a Radio Shack ATV 1000 antenna (rabbit ears) located on to top of the entertainment center. The TV actually found 39 channels in the auto find mode and I can get about 30 of those, in HD and Air, in the AM but lose all but a few in the afternoon/evening hours without the constant "fine tuning" of the antenna. Reminds of the days when I was a kid and got a maybe half-dozen channels tops and most of them were snowy, in black and white with shades of grey.
