I have owned the DVP-NS75H and I still own the PS3 and believe the PS3 is slightly better for DVD after firmware updates improved the performance. I don't use my PS3 for DVD much and prefer to use a less expensive player for DVD just to save wear and tear on the PS3. If you find the difference in performance means you prefer to use your PS3, I sure couldn't argue with that position. I did sell my DVP-NS75H but thought it was really good and would have no problem using it if I had needed to. If anything, I thought the NS75H was sharper but the PS3 better overall.
