Maybe they should try a web event first, or maybe a TV show, and see how that does. What if I buy the disc and don't make it home in time for the live event? Doh!

I've never used a single BD live feature. The only time I even used a 1.1 feature was to make sure the firmware worked.
I guess some people are into it though.
As for downloading trailers, you can do that on most cable boxes (in HD no less) and easily with a computer, PS3 or 360.
