You are missing a lot in mid range, a A/B comparison will be best test for u if you really want to know what u are missing, the problem with Bose is that cube speakers are good only for high frequency and bass module produces the mid range and low end frequency does not exist. with your set up with 80hz cross over you need bookshelf speakers or mythos one from Def. Tech. as u mentioned. For Bose 200 is good cross over but it will make you sub producing mid range and will be working all the time.
