looking for a lcd or plasma under $1900
Been googling around for a while and I figured that I need to ask for some expert advice from a forum. Looking for a tv set less than 1900 dollars. doesn't matter if it's a lcd or plasma. will be using the tv for basic tv channels, satellite (not HD), blu ray movies, dvd movies, and PS3 games. want the latest hardware, top notch quality and colors for the price that I listed. needs to be 1080p. if lcd, i want the120hz. size for plasma or lcd: 40-50. manufacturer doesn't matter.
lightening isn't an issue for our house. Have curtains for all the windows if glare is a problem. should I stick w/ plasma or go w/ LCD? i know everyone has mixed reviews. this won't be hooked up to a computer.
been looking at Samsung PN50A550 50-inch 1080p Plasma HDTV on amazon. seen nice reviews (cnet and other sites) on this tv for about $1849.
panasonic has the vierra 42-46 plasmas. Panasonic - 42" 1080p Flat-Panel Plasma HDTV TH-42PZ85U or TH-42PZ85U.
any lcds w/ 120 hz or should i stay w/ the plasma w/ the budget i have? lcds w/ 120 hz are so dang expensive. saw the samsung LN46A650 or LN 40A650.
anyways, appreciate it for any comments or suggestions. thanks a million.
