I can't stop laughing thinking about somebody believing that a company is going to start manufacturing HD DVD players to play the old software with no new software being released. How can you guys believe such lunacy? There were surely well over 100,000,000 Beta videotapes made, why hasn't some company picked up that hardware manufacturing option from Sony for playback of that software?
