Great links! I had read something about that TDK process, but that gave me more details about it. One significant thing about that coating is that the articles said that the coating is available for DVD-Rs right now but they cost about $5.00 more than DVD-R with the standard coating. I am sure they will get the cost down, but how long will it take to make it insiginificant? Who knows but if it is as good as TDK says it is, then BluRay will be ok in the war and it may last much longer and we as consumers will have to wait longer for a clear winner. This is actually going to hurt EVERYONE!
