Ok if you enable texturing on PS2 to "smooth" graphics, you have to realize that it will mostly improve older PS1 titles. These games were less advanced grahically and stand the most to gain from smoothing texturing. As for the new PS2 titles these are already way more advanced graphically. If you choose to smooth texturing PS2 games either show no improvement, or don't work. You can also set the load speed higher on PS2, once again benefitting older PS1 software, but if you try to run a PS2 game it loads no faster, it may even freeze up. Hope this helps.
