I am wanting to connect an external hard drive to my XBOX 360 using the usb ports on the front. The drive is not recognized by the XBOX. I have tried formating the drive as NTFS and Fat32 but I have been unable to get the drive recognized. I am wanting to use the XBOX to play back MP3 files on the drive. I am able to do this using a 40 gig MP3 player.

What format scheme do I need to use so the XBOX will recognizes the external hard drive?
