Default Buyers Advantage

I've been a member of Buyers Advantage for over ten years. In the past they extended all U.S. new product warranties to three years from date of purchase. Currently they extend FIVE years. I have saved thousands by not buying extended warranties for all my A/V and other tech purchases over the years. And, yes they have paid every claim I have made including $400 for my wife's HP hard drive that failed in month 13 (it had a one year warranty).

They will pay for IN-Home service on the Vizio I plan to purchase for years 3-5 (Costco/Vizio cover years 1-2). They also pay 50% of many home repairs ($125 max per repair) for like refrigerators, washing machines etc. BA will take a return of most anything I buy, that I don't want to keep and which can no longer be returned for full refund from the seller. It covers items up to $500 for 90 days post purchase. Really, this company has been there for me all these years and most years it has paid for itself. Great peace of mind by not having to hassle over individual EW's for scores of A/V purchases from my old Sony TRV900 $2000 camcorder (with its Sony 90 day labor Warranty extended to 3 years by BA) to scores upon scores of A/V purchases since.

Can't recall how many times I've told Salesmen "no, don't need an extended Warranty." You can Google Buyers Advantage and and check them out. And NO, I don't own any stock in the company.
