How was M$ a backstabber? What other companies backstabbed toshiba, other than WB?

And then I'd have made it clear that backstabbing business partners, particularly Microsoft, isn't a terribly strategic move. I'd have made it clear that the HDPG might not have much to say right now, due to the timing of Warner's betrayal, but that we'd have more to say in the near future when a plan of action has been developed.
They could have turned this into a bad press event for Warner and BDA and shown a strong resolve to march on in spite of the bad news. But instead they're giving the impression that they've given up.
I think they need a new marketing team. If I can think of this, they should have been able to. Then again, marketing has been one of the problems all along.
