Like I said, get used to it.
Nobody wants to train techs, produce service documents, manage spare parts inventory and control or spend the extra money necessary to make a product serviceable. Consumers aren't willing to pay more for a product that can be serviced, as they assume the product is not going to fail.
At least with Tier 1 manufacturers, you still have the option of getting it fixed instead of replaced, but it may cost you more.
