Unknown. There has been nothing in the media nor from Panasonic or Fox concerning the general release of Avatar on 3D BD.

Well... exclusivity (reportedly) ends this month, so I'm guessing after February 2012.
With Titanic being re-released in early April, I would guess that the beginning of April is possible... but there surely would have been some kind of announcement about this by now. We may just have to wait until within a month before the release of Avatar 2. |

I am not sure and also looking forward to it. I think it will be a little late, because I have heard that the Avatar 3D II will released in 2014.

I'm assuming that wasn't shot in 3D since I've never heard of it existing that way; seems like an odd choice for a conversion this late in the game. Probably the only Proyas movie I wouldn't do cartwheels to get in 3D actually....
