It would seem we've had a few Lucas non-believers post opinions in this thread, I might not think that Star Wars are the greatest films of all time, but they definitely were a total change in the way movies were filmed, written and done they changed the industry forever, for that they are a milestone and will live forever in history as some of the most important films ever made.

Don't get me wrong. I grew up with Star Wars and have always been a huge Star Wars freak. I even showed my Super 8mm sound version in elementary school to the class. I've watched it so many times that I have every single mistake in the film stuck in my head. When the Special Editions came out, I was very excited that those things would all be fixed. Imagine my disappointment when Obi-Wan's lightsaber still looked like the batteries were dying and the glow was going away during the battle between him and Vader. How can you NOT fix that shot? I could site dozens of goofs like that through the series that were not fixed and easily could have been.

So here's my question to you - when he magically creates the right eye print out of thin air - will he create Obi-Wan's dying lightsaber? Or will he finally fix it? Will he create another jump cut when R2's front leg extends before rolling towards 3PO as he says "At last, Where have you been?" Or will he fix the jump cut? Because those things that look silly to me will look even sillier in 3D.

It won't but unfortunately it will not matter as the sheeple will continue to buy his crap regardless...

I don't understand...most grade B movies have bad dialog, poor acting, predictable script, sophomoric camera cut scene wipes, etc...

Interesting, while I'm not a huge fan, but your opinion goes against years of reviewers written and published opinions and 99% of the world population's opinion not to mention how the films are discussed nationwide in college classes on film history and actual cinematography courses.

I guess everyone has an opinion, yours is just held by very few people indeed.

Good for you for going against the opinion of the entire movie watching/loving world market.

Has anyone seen this yet? I'm thinking about it, but I just can't justify paying $15-ish to see such a terrible movie... maybe I'm just old fashioned that way!

So did anyone go and see this? I took the family and thought it was not worth he extra $$$ for 3-d, few scenes but nothing spectacular.

I was almost offended as it felt like a ploy for Lucas to make even more money than he already has.....

Definitely thubs down!

This guy is a genious in every sense, very intelligent man, who sold the same thing over and over and contiues to do so. Honestly, I don't mean to be rude. But, is it hype or does it really mean people will sit through the same movie over and over. VHS/DVD/BD/TV/
I saw it already! Personally, I thought after the 1st one, they were just a special effects outlet.
I sat through them, and like everyone thought that 5 sucked-it had no effects, proving a fact. But I was sucked into the hype, until I realized it is boring and enough is enough. I saw it-and I've seen it quite enough. I can fall asleep with something less costly.
